"Come"を使って
Come + 動名詞は、動名詞が後に続く他の動作の動詞 のようなものです。つまり、主語が動作をする時に、何か他の事もしているということです。
例
- She came running across the field.
- The horse came racing around the corner.
- My dog always comes bounding out of the car.
- When I call you, please come running.
Come + 不定詞 は、たぶん主語の管理外で何かが起こり、展開していることを意味する場合があります。.
例
- At first I thought he was crazy, but I've come to appreciate his sense of humour.
- How did you come to be outside the wrong house?
- The book has come to mean something quite different for me.
- I have come to see that you were right all along.
Come + 不定詞 は、不定詞が来た目的を述べている場合もあります。これは、不定詞が後に来るその他の動作の動詞の使い方に似ています。
