正しい数量詞の選択
How much? や How many?という質問に答えるために 特定の数量詞を可算名詞(friends, cups, people)と一緒に、その他の数量詞を不可算名詞 (sugar, tea, money) と一緒に、そしてそれ以外の数量詞をすべてのタイプの名詞と一緒に使うことが出来ます。

"Much" と"Many"の使い方
muchと many は、主に疑問文や否定文に使われます。また、これらは too や soと一緒に肯定文や否定文に使われます。注意: many という言葉は、それだけで肯定文に使うことができる一方、 much は、それができません。 Much は、肯定文の中では a lot ofや lots of に置き換えられます(これらの表現は manyを置き換えることもできます)。
